New Arrival: Boring Mill!

Metaltek has purchased a second boring mill. This is a much larger machine which gives our milling department an increase in capacity for both size and volume. With its 96” x 72” x 43” travel and its table capacity of 13,000 pounds, this mill gives us the ability to machine much larger parts. Let us know if you have a project in mind where this additional capacity could be helpful!
New Equipment

We received a new HAAS DS30 Turning Center with bar feeder. This dual spindle lathe enhances the capabilities of Metaltek’s already well-established turning department. It represents our continued commitment to lean processing and gained efficiencies.
Grinding Department Upgrade

We traded our old Toyoda CNC grinder for a new model complete with all the bells and whistles. It was delivered from Japan in December of 2014. This machine will ensure the consistency in quality we are known for at GRM.
Part Marking Upgrade

We transitioned from chemical etching to laser marking in November 2014. This laser with rotary axis provides crisp clean part identification. Send us your logo and we can add it to your parts!
